The hugely popular 'night market' under city centre arches with street food, traders and DJ takeovers

A hugely popular night market will be returning to the city centre this month, with stalls for everyone that will include artists, artisan producers, and bakers.

The unique shopping experience will be held in Fairfield Social Club, which is situated near Victoria Station on Irk Street in Meadowside, from Friday (July 26).

Night Market UK will be returning for the third time, as it stops off on the next leg of its country tour. The market debuted at Victoria Baths in 2022, and was held at the nearby Love Factory last year.

The event will run from 6pm to 11pm, and will feature more than 50 small local businesses. Visitors will be able to indulge in a variety of items for sale, from bespoke fashion items and silverware from Brutal Fashion, dazzling musical art prints from Lost in Music, and sculptural candles from Urban Botany to beautifully crafted homeware by Dapper Alice.

The shopping experience will also see Fairfield Social Club resident street food purveyor Isit Kitchen joined by pizza specialists Killa Carbs in the garden.

Amongst the wide amount options through the market, shoppers will also have the opportunity to party through the evening with DJ Clara B, who will be taking over the club’s sound system.
