Starbucks brings back hugely popular Autumn drink from today - but it will only be available to some customers

Starbucks has announced it is bringing back its hugely popular Autumn drink - and they’re already in stores to order from today for a very lucky selection of people.

Arriving earlier than anticipated - and earlier than ever - due to demand, Starbucks has begun serving up its beloved Pumpkin Spice Lattes in select stores across the UK today (August 8).

Featuring signature espresso, pumpkin spice flavour sauce and steamed milk, the drink is then topped with whipped cream and that well-celebrated spice blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Many regard the arrival of the Pumpkin Spice Latte as the first sign of Autumn.

As usual, the drink is available to order as an original latte, in an iced version and as a blended frappuccino, with prices starting from £4.65. However, there is a slight caveat that means that they are not immediately available for every single customer.

For two weeks, the Autumn drinks can only be ordered by Starbucks Rewards members. Thankfully, it’s free to sign up to the rewards scheme. All you need to do is download the Starbucks UK app today to get started. Then you simply use the app in-store or via Drive Thru when ordering.

For those who don’t feel like signing up, the drinks will be added to the menu from August 22 alongside a range of other Autumn themed food and drinks. The full Autumn food menu will launch on September 5.

Starbucks said it decided to bring back the Pumpkin Spice Latte earlier this year after discovering that online searches for its arrival were up last year by 43%. Fans have also seen the Autumn coffee trending in searches as early as July.
