The home baker whose amazing floral bouquets are made entirely of cake
These stunning bouquets of roses, tulips, freesia and chrysanthemum may look like fresh cut blooms - but they are in fact all made of CAKE.
These brilliant edible bouquets are the handiwork of home-baker Joanne Goodwin.
The mum-of-one from Alderley Edge has seen such demand for her stunning cupcake bouquet creations that last year she gave up her day job to go full time with her bakery business - and has not looked back since.

Jo admits people can get quite overwhelmed when they receive the stunning cake bouquets, which makes it all the more worthwhile as a career.
She says: "I first started making cakes about 9 years ago when I was getting married and decided to make my own wedding cake. I took an evening class to learn the basics of covering a cake with fondant and basic decoration.
"Since then, I’ve made christening cakes, birthday cakes and wedding cakes for friends.
"This was only ever done on an occasional basis as I find large cakes to be stressful and don’t really enjoy making them.
"Then, around July 2020 I came across cupcake bouquets.
"I’d never seen anything like them before so decided to give them ago. I purchased a few online tutorials and went from there.
"After hours of practising, and giving them as gifts to everyone, my husband suggested that I register as a business and start to sell them.
"Then in November 2020 Jo Goodwin Cupcakes was born.
"At this time, I was still working my ‘day job’, but by April 2021 I was able to move to do this full time.
"Best decision I ever made!"
Jo had been working in the finance world until she became pregnant with her daughter, now 10, and then moved into warehouse
