'The full story will become clear' - Ex-Man United midfielder Paul Pogba breaks silence on doping ban

Manchester United record-signing Paul Pogba has revealed he intends to appeal his four-year ban for a doping offence.

The 30-year-old was suspended in September after drug test showed elevated levels of testosterone in his system. Pogba's first season back in Italy was blighted by injury as he was reduced to just 10 games in all competitions following knee surgery. Should his appeal against the ban be upheld, the Frenchman will be unable to play until 2027, when he is 33.

"I am sad, shocked and heartbroken that everything I have built in my professional playing career has been taken away from me.
