The faces of the ten people police still want to track down

These are the faces of the ten people police still want to speak to after disorder broke out in Bolton back in August this year.

Officers investigating the incident, on Sunday, August 4, are attempting to track down a number of people that they want to identify as part of their enquiries.

Riot cops were called to the town centre and were met with 'hostile crowds' as they attempted to prevent the developing unrest, GMP has said. CCTV enquiries have been ongoing ever since to find those involved.

A huge police presence had also been called to outbreaks of disorder at Piccadilly Gardens the previous day, August 3, in Newton Heath on July 31 and outside Rochdale police station on July 25.

A fresh appeal has now been issued by Greater Manchester Police to identify ten people they want to speak to amid ongoing enquiries into the violent outbreaks in Bolton. Anyone with information can submit it on their online portal.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We are investigating an outbreak of disorder which took place in Bolton town centre on Sunday 4 August 2024 and are seeking to identify the following people as part of our investigation.

"If you recognise the people pictured, please get in touch with police through the MIPP portal https://mipp.police.uk/operation/06GMP24S76-PO1

"Alternatively, contact us on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting Operation Underbarrow."
