The colourful afternoon tea at 'beautiful' Manchester hotel

It is one of Manchester's top-rated hotels, with guests hailing the King Street Town House "beautiful" and "amazing" on Tripadvisor. And it also boasts one of the prettiest afternoon tea offerings too.

The luxury hotel has just revealed its late summer afternoon tea menu, featuring not only an array of pretty cakes, but even the sandwiches are multi-coloured too. Afternoon teas are served in the Library at the hotel, next to its main restaurant the King Street Tavern.

Visitors and hotel guests can book in for the traditional treat seven days a week. The historic building is nestled behind King Street in the city centre at its top end on Booth Street, and it is currently rated the fifth best hotel in Manchester on Tripadvisor.
