The Celtic and Rangers VIPs spotted in the stands as Dermot Desmond joined by rockers plus EPL heroes

It's the biggest fixture in the Scottish football calendar - and it attracts some of the biggest names in the game.

Going into derby day, Celtic had the chance to all-but seal the Premiership trophy with a win over Rangers.

Things had been going well when Jota put the home side a goal up, but Gio van Bronckhorst's men battled back into the game in the second half as they levelled through Fashion Sakala.

With such a blockbuster fixture on the cards, some celebrity fans were always going to want to catch a glimpse of the action.

Chelsea legend and former England captain John Terry was quickly spotted by the cameras as he interacted with the home support.

He wasn't the only England cap to take in the atmosphere, with talkSPORT pundit Trevor Sinclair spotted in the stands.

The Parkhead club's majority shareholder Dermot Desmon d was also in attendance, hoping to see Ange Postecoglou all but seal the title.

Diehard Hoops fan Rod Stewart was also in the box seats, while former boss Gordon Strachan soaked up another massive fixture in Glasgow's east end.

From a Rangers perspective, former chairman Alistair Johnston made a rare appearance at the game.

Chairman Douglas Park and managing director Stewart Robertson also in attendance.
