The brand new alcohol-free pop-up listening bar in Manchester

Fusing Japanese inspiration with a dedication to the thriving growth of non-alcoholic drinks, Rainy Heart has emerged as a unique pop-up listening bar in Manchester.

Taking residence in the former Uplift unit at Unit 120 on Chester Road, this brainchild of local artist and DJ Rufdug will see a selection of DJs occupying the space over the next two weeks in Stretford.

It is the 'perfect spot' to listen to some live vinyl tunes and catch-up amongst friends with a state of the art sound system and a selection of no & low alcohol beers from @loah.beer.

The space will operate during two pop-up sessions - see below for info on dates, times and location:

• Session 1: Thursday 18th - Sunday 21st January

• Session 2: Thursday 25th - Sunday 28th January

6pm - 11pm on Thur, Fri and Sat | 5pm - 9pm on Sundays.

Founder Simon Hindle (aka Ruf Dug) said: “I own a really nice sound system and a chance conversation with another school dad in the playground expressing an abstract dream of opening a bar of my own has led to this moment."

Rainy Heart is a space entirely devoid of alcoholic beverages. Hindle, who embraced sobriety in 2006, expressed his delight at the changing times and the warm reception for an alcohol-free venue. "It's been amazing witnessing this revolution in non-alcoholic drinks over the last couple of years and I'm very pleased that the times have changed so much that I can open an alcohol-free space and it be so roundly welcomed."
