The Black Keys announce Manchester Co-op Live gig as part of opening week

The Black Keys will perform at Manchester's Co-op Live during its opening week this April. The Grammy Award-winning band will take to the stage on 27 April as the landmark venue kicks off its opening season.

Just a couple of weeks ago, it was confirmed that legendary comedian Peter Kay would be officially opening the 23,500 capacity live music and entertainment venue. The Boltonian, who is currently on his 'Better Late Than Never' tour across the UK, will perform at the new arena on Tuesday, 23 April.

Co-op members will gain first-in-line access to The Black Keys tickets through a presale from 10am on Wednesday 6 March 2024. General sale tickets will be available through Co-op Live from 10am on Friday 8 March 2024 here and on Ticketmaster here.

Considered to be one of the biggest and best rock ‘n’ roll bands around, the duo are also preparing to release their twelfth studio album, ‘Ohio Players’, on 5 April, just two weeks before taking to the stage at Co-op Live. The record features collaborations with the likes of Beck, Noel Gallagher, Greg Kurstin, Dan “The Automator” Nakamura and more.
