Manchester United win vs Liverpool could force a Sir Jim Ratcliffe rethink

Few other stadiums in world football would have produced the kind of scenes we witnessed on Sunday, as United downed their old rivals in an instant FA Cup classic. There was bedlam in the Stretford End, one of the true special spaces of English football fandom.

Days like these, eh? It would be a shame if those days were numbered.

Because, for all his good intentions regarding the regeneration of Old Trafford and the restructuring of United, Sir Jim Ratcliffe might seek to end it all with his ambitious plans for a new stadium.
