The best places in Manchester to watch the Lionesses at the 2023 Women’s World Cup

The Women’s World Cup quite literally kicks off this Thursday, with the mighty Lionesses heading down under to take on the best women’s teams on the planet. And after their glorious success at the 2022 Euros, all eyes will be on them for the coveted trophy (ahem, one that has eluded the men’s team for nearly 60 years).

As such, thoughts turn to the pub - and specifically, watching the football in the pub. That most of the games will start in the morning, what with the time difference and all, it’s a good enough excuse to start early.
