Expectation levels are likely to rise in South Wales for next season, with Swansea City eyeing progress after Russell Martin’s first campaign in charge. 

Finishing the second tier campaign in 15th, the Swans will be hoping that they can progress up the Championship table with a few new additions to bolster competition levels within the squad. 

Martin’s possession-based style of football has attracted a lot of attention this season, with the Swans averaging the highest percentage of possession in the division. 

He will be hoping that his side will be more settled within his rather unique playing style for the next campaign and can add an element of devastation to their approach play.
