Swansea City eyeing Tottenham youngster who's already formed deadly partnership with current Swans star

Swansea City are weighing up a possible move for Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott.

As originally reported by football.london, sources have told WalesOnline that Parrott is on Swansea's radar this summer, although it seems they aren't the only ones taking an interest.

Middlesbrough, Preston and QPR have also been mentioned as potential suitors, with Spurs potentially ready to loan out the forward once again next season.

There are seemingly high hopes for Parrott in north London, and there's still a chance that Antonio Conte may include him in the club's pre-season plans over the coming weeks, and could even take him on the upcoming tour of Korea.

However, it's likely that another season on loan will be seen as the best option for his development.

Parrott was linked with a move to SA1 two years ago, but decided to join Millwall. It proved a difficult spell, and he started just seven games for the Lions during a stint heavily impacted by injury.

He then moved to Ipswich Town midway through that same season, before heading out on loan once again, this time to Russell Martin's MK Dons, the following summer.

Martin would, of course, depart shortly after the Irishman's arrival, but the current Swans boss is believed to be a big admirer of the 20-year-old.

Speaking after his unveiling at MK, Parrott said: "Russ has wanted me to come here previously but for one reason or another it hasn’t happened. He’s made it known that he wants me, which is a good feeling to have."
