The available seats for Cape Town e-Prix after most expensive tickets sold out

Though there was some trepidation over ticket prices for the upcoming Formula E race in Cape Town, South Africa, it seems like it is something of the past.

Tickets for the first e-Prix in Southern Africa are selling like hotcakes, and a quick look at the Ticket Master website reveals that only a handful of seats are still up for grabs. The street circuit, taking place around the Green Point precinct, has several stands around it, each offering a clear view of the action.

And, of course, each comes with its price tag, with pricing ranging from R1 295 to R3 450 per ticket.

The Cape Town e-Prix takes place on 25 February 2023.

Available tickets

Starting at the start/finish line on Vlei Road, Stands 2 and 4 are completely sold out. There are seats on Stands 1 and 3. Stand 1 only has five seats available, while Stand 3 has two seats. The wheelchair zone is next to Stand 4, but it is unclear how many spots are still available.

Both Vlei Road and wheelchair zone tickets sell for R2 295 per ticket, and are situated between Turns 12 and 1.

On Helen Suzman Boulevard, Area 2's Stands 1 and 2 still have plenty of tickets available. A few hundred tickets are on offer, with another wheelchair zone between Stands 2 and 3. Prices for the remaining Area 2 tickets sell for R1 995 per ticket

Granger Bay Boulevard also has several stands, but only Area E Stand 1 has spots left. The closer one sits to the track, the ticket will sell for R1 595, while those opting to sit higher up the seating plan will pay R1 295 per ticket.
