'What a race!': Joy and sadness as drivers and teams reflect on successful CT e-Prix
The Formula E Cape Town e-Prix was a monumental success, as well as being the scene of Antonio Felix da Costa's first win since joining Tag Heuer Porsche before the current season.
For Da Costa, the Cape Town e-Prix would be forever etched in his memory as he duelled with former teammate and DS Penske driver Jean-Eric Vergne for the win in the race's closing stages, seizing the lead with a bold move to overtake going into Turn 9.
"I still can't believe it," Da Costa said. "What a race! Clinching my first win for Porsche here in Cape Town after starting from P11 is simply fantastic."
Vergne shared in his former teammate's success: "I'm very happy for him. He did a fantastic race. Very good move as well."

For local hero Kelvin van der Linde, the weekend could not have ended more disastrously. Mahindra Racing withdrew both its cars from the race due to safety concerns about ABT Cupra's cars - the very team Van der Linde drives for.
"Devastated! We are forced to withdraw all our cars from the remainder of the event due to safety concerns," Van der Linde said after the news broke.
"I was loving the energy from the home crowd, and after a very positive FP2 (second practice), we were looking great for qualifying. Sorry to all fans, this is not the way I wanted to end my home race weekend."
At Jaguar TCS Racing, the team's poor luck continued throughout the weekend. In qualifying, Sam Bird suffered an accident that ruled him out of the race, while Mitch Evans was hit with a drive-through penalty during the race.
In Hyderabad earlier this month, Bird had crashed into his teammate, Evans, to rule out both cars in India's inaugural E-Prix race.
"It's been an incredibly frustrating day again here in Cape Town." said Jaguar
