There is uncertainty over whether the Chelsea and West Ham FA Cup games against Plymouth Argyle and Kidderminster Harriers respectively will be shown in their entirety due to the TV blackout rule.
Both London clubs were taken to extra time after Cesar Azpilicueta and Declan Rice rescued the aforementioned duo who fell behind in the first half against the sides from the lower tiers.
But as extra time progresses for both, with Chelsea netting their second courtesy of Marcos Alonso right before half-time of extra time and Harriers still holding the Hammers, both coverages of the game may be cut short due to the controversial TV blackout rule in this country regarding live football.
As per James Benge, who pointed this out first, coverage of both ties could have been cut short at 2.45pm due to this rule that not many people were expecting to come into play on this Saturday afternoon.
He tweeted: "So, ermmm, are they going to have to take these games off the TV in 15 minutes?
"Stupid British rule, no live football between 2:45 and 5:15 on Saturday. I genuinely don't know if they'll enforce it right now."
However, despite this rule, it seems as though the BBC will continue on with their coverage
