The 1975 announce Manchester date as part of huge UK and Europe arena tour

The 1975 have unveiled a new string of UK and European dates as part of their ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ tour in early 2024.

The band, who hail from 'Wilmslow, Cheshire' as frontman Matty Healy pointed out during their Parklife set in June, are set to embark on an Autumn tour across North America and Canada including two sold-out nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden in November.

The UK and European tour dates will kick off in February 2024 and will see the band perform five nights in the UK - including dates in Glasgow, London, Manchester and Birmingham - before heading to the likes of Lisbon, Madrid, Paris and Amsterdam.

The 1975 will perform at Manchester’s AO Arena on Sunday, February 18, 2024. This will proceed two huge nights at London’s O2 Arena on February 12 and 13.

Tickets for the UK and Europe tour will be available via Exclusive Fan Presale on September 6 at 10am BST. General sale will open on September 8 at 10am BST.

The newly announced dates represent the band’s biggest ever shows in Europe and will be the final shows of the campaign around their latest album Being Funny In A Foreign Language.

Released last October, the record was hailed by The FACE as being “an album of massive tunes, pristine production and sincere romanticism”. It outsold the rest of the Top 5 combined to land the band their fifth Official UK Number 1 album in a row. The band were also crowned ‘Best Rock/Alternative Act’ at the 2023 BRIT Awards.

Earlier this year, The 1975 headlined Parklife at Heaton Park where fans camped out early to get spots right in front of the stage.
