Ten Hag interview: Man Utd boss 'interrogated' by Neville and Carragher

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have been accused of ‘interrogating’ Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in a Sky Sports interview.

Sky Sports have released a 90-second snippet of an extensive interview with the United boss which is set to be released on Monday ahead of their clash with Liverpool.

But in the clip Sky Sports have shared, Carragher and Neville pull no punches with Ten Hag and questioned the signing of Lisandro Martinez, the recruitment and the handling of the Cristiano Ronaldo situation.

Here are the questions that were asked in the clip – and Ten Hag’s answers.

Neville: “How can it be that Brentford’s players want to win more than Manchester United players?”Ten Hag: “It has to change. They appointed me to change that.”

Carragher: “The player you’ve brought in at centre-back, Lisandro Martinez, the two teams you’ve come up against now have targeted him with a lot more long balls.”Ten Hag: “The data shows he is dominating.”
