Ten brilliant things l things I saw at the Salford Lads Club Oasis exhibition

A huge exhibition devoted purely to Oasis has opened at the Salford Lads Club – and it’s heaven for those who are fans of the band.

The event, set to run on June 15 and 16, takes place ahead of Liam Gallagher's huge homecoming shows to celebrate Oasis's seminal debut album Definitely Maybe.

The exhibition has opened in Salford just as 50,000 Liam fans are set to descend on the city for the shows at Co-op Live on Saturday and Sunday.

Liam, alongside fellow Oasis founder member Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, will be performing Definitely Maybe in full at the shows.

The exhibiton has been sponsored by Propstore, Madchester & GioGoi, with GioGoi founder Anthony Donnelly lending a number of Oasis pieces from his own archive for the exhibition.
