Teen firebombed home of mum and girl after being drawn into £2m gang war

A teenager firebombed the home of a mum and her daughter after getting caught up in a £2m drugs war between rival gangs in Manchester and Fleetwood.

Christopher Harrison, 19, owed money to a Manchester drugs gang and agreed to take out revenge on Fylde coast dealers they believe had stolen their drugs. Between October and December 2021, he visited the region on three separate occasions to carry out orders for the Manchester gang.

Jon Close, prosecuting, said the woman was "oblivious to what had gone on before or was about to happen".

The woman was in the kitchen and her young child was playing near the front door when she heard a bang
