Tanguy Ndombele returns, Sarr shines, Jack Clarke assist, striker departs - Spurs loan latest

Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur players have been saying their goodbyes to their loan clubs this week but some have an exciting set of matches ahead.

Spurs had 11 loan players out on loan at sides in England, Scotland, France, Spain and Sweden during this second half of the season. Last week Kacper Kurylowicz said his farewell to non-league side Potters Bar Town and others have also now come to the conclusion of their loan deals in recent days.

Some of the young players had been sent out to get experience of the senior game, some to get more minutes under their belts and others to thrust them into the shop window ahead of needed summer moves and now some will return with either promotion or heartbreak to their name. Ndombele was back among the substitutes having missed three Ligue 1 matches in a row due to injury, and he got 21 minutes from the bench as Lyon won 3-0 at second-placed Marseille on Sunday. The 25-year-old Frenchman did his bit from the bench, making two clearances and blocking one Marseille shot and Lyon's second and third goals did come after his arrival.

Ndombele has played 12 times for Lyon since joining on loan on January transfer deadline day with one goal and two assists to his name and he will now hope to help the club secure a European spot for next season in their final three matches.
