'Taking notes' - Bruno Fernandes likened to Manchester United legend after goal vs Burnley

A decade ago, the Dutchman placed the cherry on top of the cake by bagging a hat-trick against Aston Villa to clinch the title. The second strike, a stunning volley from outside the box following Wayne Rooney’s cross-field pass, was crowned goal of the season.

Van Persie netted a third and, by doing so, fulfilled his remit from Sir Alex Ferguson of clinching the Premier League title. Netting 30 goals across all competitions - including 26 in the league - helped Ferguson sign off his legendary reign in style.
