Jadon Sancho makes feelings clear on Jurgen Klopp after Erik ten Hag dig resurfaces

Former Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho has described Jurgen Klopp as a "legend" after the ex-Liverpool manager returned to Borussia Dortmund this weekend.

The German was back at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon for a testimonial match between his former players Jakub Blaszczykowski and Lukasz Piszczek.

Over 80,000 supporters flocked to Signal Iduna Park to see Klopp return to the Dortmund dugout for the first time since May 2015. At the end of the game, they were treated to a hat-trick of the German's trademark fist-pumps in front of the Yellow Wall.

It was on Sunday afternoon, though, that Klopp's post-match festivities made headlines as Sancho - who earlier this month sealed a deadline-day move from Manchester United to Chelsea - was quick to salute the former Liverpool boss.

In a video uploaded by Borussia Dortmund showing Klopp's fist-pumps, the 24-year-old called Klopp - who inflicted humiliating 5-0 and 7-0 defeats on Sancho during his time at United - a "legend".

However, despite history insisting Klopp and Sancho should be enemies given their previous allegiances in the North West, the former Liverpool manager actually aimed a dig at United for failing to get the best out of Sancho after his £71m move to Old Trafford in 2021.
