Swansea City v Birmingham City Live: Score updates from Championship opener

The new season is finally upon us, and it's another new era for Swansea City.

Michael Duff is set to oversee his first season as a manager in the Championship, with Birmingham City the visitors to the Swansea.com Stadium this afternoon.

Six new signings have followed Duff through the door in recent weeks, with Harrison Ashby the latest to be confirmed, having signed on loan from Newcastle United on Friday.

The full-back is in contention to start here, while fellow new arrivals Carl Rushworth, Josh Key and Josh Ginelly may also be involved in some capacity.

Mykola Kuharevich hasn't had much pre-season action under his belt, so this game may yet come too soon, but Jerry Yates is likely to supplement Joel Piroe up front.

Liam Walsh and Steven Benda both remain on the treatment table.
