Swansea City transfer news Live: Updates as Cyrus Christie leaves Birmingham City amid Martin's wingback hunt

Swansea City are waiting on the severity of Joel Latibeaudiere's shoulder as a move into the transfer market looks increasingly likely.

Latibeaudiere suffered a dislocation against Millwall on Tuesday night and is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Head coach Russell Martin admitted the bad news would likely force his hand in terms of recruitment, with talks taking place with chief executive Julian Winter and head of football operations Josh Marsh yesterday.

It comes as former loan man and summer target Cyrus Christie leaves Birmingham City after training with the club for a period. Martin said at the end of last season the former Fulham man wanted to sign for the club permanently but links went cold as the summer went on.

Has Latibeaudiere's injury changed the situation?

We'll have all the Swansea news and transfer gossip for you as the day goes on.
