Swansea City press conference Live: Latest team news as Russell Martin reacts to transfer deadline day business ahead of QPR test

The transfer window slammed shut last night as Swansea City managed to hold on to some of their key stars while even bringing in a new face.

Michael Obafemi and Joel Piroe will remain in SA1 despite late interest in the pair, while Fin Stevens has joined the club on loan from Brentford. There was one piece of late action, with Ryan Bennett cancelling his contract with the Swans.

Compared to many recent and much more dramatic deadline days, it was a relatively positive one for the club and Russell Martin.

Of course, the manager won't have too long to dwell on matters. He'll face the media today ahead of tomorrow's clash with QPR at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Naturally, there'll be reaction to deadline day, while there's bound to be questions on the Swans' form - with Martin's side currently sitting in 21st in the Championship after seven games.

The Swans are winless in their last four after a late equaliser at Stoke in midweek denied them a second victory of the season. You can follow everything Martin has to say in his press conference in our live blog below:
