Swansea City's transfer deadline day as it happened as West Brom's Karlan Grant to join but Paterson and Whittaker stay

The January transfer window has officially closed.

Swansea City's month has been a frustrating one to say the least, although they are set to sign Karlan Grant on loan from West Brom for the remainder of the season.

The Swans had hoped to recruit a goalkeeper in the final stages of deadline day, although they were unable to land their preferred target.

They can of course add an emergency loan shot stopper outside of the window if needed.

Elsewhere, Jamie Paterson and Morgan Whittaker remain at the club.
