Swansea City Championship fixtures Live: Updates as full 2023/24 schedule revealed

Swansea City will learn their fixture schedule for the 2023/24 Championship season this morning as the club gets closer to appointing current Barnsley boss Michael Duff as Russell Martin's successor.

Negotiations between Swansea and the League One club are said to be at an “advanced stage” as they close in on former Northern Ireland international Duff, but the Swans will have to pay a fee of around £500,000 to lure him to south Wales after Martin joined newly relegated Southampton.

However, if a deal is agreed, the 45-year-old could be named as the new Swans boss in time for pre-season, with players set to return to training on Friday.

Who they will face first in the new campaign, which kicks off on August 5, remains to be seen with all EFL clubs set to learn their run of fixtures at 9am today (Thursday, June 22).

The first round draw for the 2023/24 Carabao Cup will also be held this afternoon, getting under way at 2.30pm.
