Swansea City 3-2 West Brom: Cundle, Ntcham and Piroe strikes earn Russell Martin's men dramatic final day win

Joel Piroe's injury-time winner ensured Swansea City ended their campaign with a stunning 3-2 comeback win over West Brom.

Okay Yokuslu fired the hosts into an early lead before Luke Cundle - playing the final game of his season-long loan from Wolves - equalised for the Swans.

The Baggies - who were still in the hunt for a Championship play-off place - re-took the lead through Semi Ajayi in the second-half, although Olivier Ntcham made it 2-2 with a sublime solo goal. And Piroe notched his 20th goal of the season from a free-kick in the third minute of additional time as the Swans extended their unbeaten run to nine games to finish 10th in Martin's second campaign at the club.

Martin stuck with the same matchday squad from the 1-1 draw with Hull City last time out, and while his troops showed confidence in possession from the outset, a mistake presented the Baggies with an early opening, although Brandon Thomas-Asante was unable to meet Jed Wallace's cross despite sliding on the soaked turf.

Having controlled the opening stages possession-wise, the Swans were the creators of their own downfall as Carlos Corberan's side took the lead in the 13th minute.

Ryan Manning was unable to pick out Ntcham at the back, and, after intercepting, John Swift had the simple task of teeing up Yokuslu who slotted beyond Andy Fisher from close range.

It gave the visitors the lift they needed as they looked to sneak into the top six in dramatic fashion on the final day having surged up the table ever since Corberan replaced Steve Bruce in October.
