Supercomputer predicts Man City Champions League fate ahead of Real Madrid clash

Manchester City’s chances of retaining the Champions League this season have been rated with Pep Guardiola’s side the most likely to win the competition, according to a Supercomputer simulation.

City booked their place in the quarter-finals last week by overcoming FC Copenhagen 6-2 on aggregate. Goals from Manuel Akanji, Julian Alvarez, and Erling Haaland gave them a 3-1 win in the second leg at the Etihad Stadium, a repeat of the same result in the away leg.

That win booked their place in Friday morning’s draw for both the quarter-final and the semi-final of the competition, where they were drawn out alongside Real Madrid. The first leg will take place at the Bernabeu on Tuesday 9 April with the second leg just over a week later.
