Sunday sport: Limerick lead Clare in Munster hurling championship

All-Ireland senior hurling champions Limerick trail Clare 3-15 to 1-17 at Cusack Park in the first round of the Munster hurling championship.

That game is followed by the meeting of Waterford and Cork at Walsh Park from 4pm.

In the Leinster Hurling Championship, Wexford and Dublin are level at half time, with the score 1-8 to 0-11

Galway are ahead against Carlow 1-14 to 0-9 at Pearse Stadium. And Kilkenny lead Antrim 0-5 to 0-1 at Nowlan Park.

In the Joe McDonagh Cup, Kerry are ahead 0-9 to 0-6 in Mullingar, and Offaly lead Laois 0-16 to 0-11 in Portlaoise.

In gaelic football, Roscommon and Mayo battle it out in a Connacht senior football semi-final at Doctor Hyde Park from 4pm.
