Strictly's Nigel Harman promises fans he will 'grind and get dirty' in next dance

Strictly Come Dancing is all about sequins and sexy moves, but there's one celebrity contestant in series 21 who has raised temperatures. Nigel Harman - actor and, turns out, heartthrob - is often cited by fans as a crush.

And the 50-year-old former EastEnder did little to brush away the idea of him as a sex symbol on Strictly: It Takes Two tonight (Friday). He appeared on the show after a fairly successful week on October 7, which saw Katya and him scoop 25 points for their Batman and Robin Jive.

Talking to host Fleur East, attention turned to this weekend's dance. A world away from comic book-action, they will dance the Salsa to Suavamente by Elvis Crespo. Fleur pointed out that 'Suavamente' means 'smoothly' and asked Nigel if it had been a smooth week.

Fleur East was shocked, responding: "Grind and get dirty? Oh my goodness."

Kat added: "All I know is my cheeks hurt from smiling."

Fans online were faint with desire at the prospect of Nigel on TV, with LostInFilm @Lost_In_Films_ posting on X, the site formerly known as Twitter: "Watching #Strictly#ItTakesTwo because well #NigelHarman is on tonight."

Last week's Batman outfit also pleased a fair few, including Carole Blain @CaroleBlain said: "Nigel’s Batman
