Strangers disfigured in grotesque way realised they had same attacker when they met in hospital
A Lancashire man has been jailed for seven years after assaulting two men on a night out - by biting their faces.
Preston Crown Court heard how Saul Livesey, then 23, caused 'permanent disfigurement' to his victims by biting their cheeks, leaving lacerations several centimetres deep.
The assaults were reported to police after the two victims, previously unknown to each other, met at hospital and realised they had been attacked by the same person.
LancsLive reported that Livesey was on a night out in Accrington town centre in the early hours of January 28, 2023, when he launched the 'unexplained' attacks.

He then found out he had received a 4cm laceration wound and Livesey had bitten through to the muscle layer of his right cheek.
An hour after the first attack, Livesey struck again at DODGE nightclub. Mr Howarth described the defendant as "loutish, brutish and boorish" with footage showing an intoxicated Livesey banging on the bar at the club, before a "brief exchange" with the second victim.
The footage showed Livesey grabbing him by the waist, before leaning forwards and biting him on the cheek, causing a 5cm laceration wound to his left cheek. The prosecution said
