Stockport Country trophy parade LIVE as League Two champions celebrate promotion
Thousands of fans are set to line the streets of Stockport this afternoon for a trophy parade after a historic season for the town's football club.
County won their first league trophy in over 50 years after securing the League Two title, and with it promotion to League One next season.
A huge parade will be going through Stockport today in celebration. Players and staff will be attending a private civic reception in Stockport Town Hall before the parade starts at 3pm from the Town Hall.
The route will then Edward Street, before going across the A6 and slowly making its way down Greek Street and then on to Mercian Way. The bus will then turn on to Hardcastle Road, before returning to Edgeley Park at around 3.40pm.
A trophy presentation will then take place inside the ground at 4pm.

People have been warned of delays in Stockport when the parade gets going.
