The January transfer window may have closed for business on Monday evening but it has still proved to be a very busy few days at Tottenham Hotspur.
Fresh from bringing in Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski before the deadline, as well seeing Dele Alli, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Bryan Gil head out of the exit door, there was also another key departure to come from N17 on Wednesday evening.
Technical performance director Steve Hitchen, who returned to the club back in 2017 after a previous five-year spell, has decided to leave his role and look for a new challenge elsewhere.
Regarded very highly by those who have worked with him at the club, Hitchen has already been linked with a job at both Everton and Newcastle United.
Working alongside Fabio Paratici since his arrival from Juventus back in the summer, all eyes will now be fully focused on the Italian to see what he does next as Spurs look to get back on track.
