Jones believes ten Hag and Manchester United would show they mean business by beating other big-name suitors to Nunez’s signature.

The transfer insider feels the striker would be a coup due to the amount of other clubs also hoping to get a deal over the line.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “They definitely have to improve their recruitment strategy and they have to make sure that there are no more mistakes.

“Someone like Darwin Nunez would definitely be a statement signing because there are so many clubs interested in him.”
