Starstruck viewers complain of 'distracting' details as Adele tributes give goosebumps

Starstruck has been entertaining music lovers on Saturday nights as superfans transform into their musical icons. Tonight (Saturday March 25) three singers drew gasps as they took to the stage as singing superstar Adele.

Each week Starstruck sees four teams of three superfans transform into their idol for a performance of one of their classic songs. Each team experiences a star makeover as they transform into the icon before stepping onto the stage on the ITV singing show with £50,000 up for grabs in the final.

Viewers watching at home and star judges Adam Lambert, Jason Manford, Beverley Knight and Ronan Keating said 'Hello' to tributes who sounded uncannily like the British singer. Ronan said he had "absolute goosebumps" and Beverley enthused: "All three of you had it down." But as the praise poured in some fans said they were distracted by the hair and outfits.

@AmyJoanne__exclaimed: "The costumes and wigs. What the f***." @DanielDm27 quipped: "Never mind we’ll find, someone THAT DOESN’T LOOK like you." And @Cloella asked: "Who is responsible for these wigs? It's a human rights infringement."

After Team Adele was declared the winning team, school teacher Abbie went on to be crowned the winning singer from the team and adrac5 said: "The middle Adele just gave me the goosies." and @itsjustluce_ praised: "As an Adele super fan every song kills me.
