Star-studded cast revealed for Guy Ritchie's latest project for Paramount+

Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan have been confirmed to star in a new series for Paramount+ created by Guy Ritchie and Ronan Bennett.

The show was initially developed under the title 'The Donovans', intended as a transatlantic spin-off of the Showtime series, Ray Donovan.

However, the series has since been reimagined as a standalone project, with no ties to the aforementioned franchise.

Previously rumoured to be named 'The Associate', Variety reports that this is not the case and the project remains untitled at present.

Filming has officially commenced in London, with the series set to premiere on Paramount+ via Showtime in 2025, reports the Daily Record.

This new venture reunites Tom and Guy, who previously collaborated on the 2008 crime comedy film 'Rocknrolla'.

The series is described as being "centered around two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal 'fixer' charged with protecting one of them at all costs."

Tom will portray Harry Da Souza, a "a professional conciliator on behalf of the Harrigan family."

Pierce will assume the role of Conrad Harrigan, the head of a highly successful Irish crime family operating out of London, for whom Harry works.

Meanwhile, Helen will play Maeve Harrigan, Conrad's wife and the matriarch of the family.

Chris McCarthy, the Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President/CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, has expressed his pride in securing a stellar lineup for Guy Ritchie's upcoming series, stating: "Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are masters at their craft and we are honored to have them lead the cast for Guy Richie's new global, original series."
