Stacey Solomon tells fans 'don't panic' as she responds to criticism over what she feeds her children

Stacey Solomon was left saying 'don't panic' as she was forced to laugh off criticism over what she feeds her children. The Loose Women star was proud as punch as she and her son Rex were able to pick the tomatoes he had grown in their own greenhouse.

It's not the first of Rex's green-fingered escapades as Stacey has previously shown off the other vegetables he has grown which she was last able to use as part of a classic Sunday roast. Taking to her Instagram Story, the 33-year-old shared a picture of one-year-old Rose holding onto the bowl of the picked bright red tomatoes.

"We picked all of Rexy's tomatoes in the greenhouse as Rexy said we need to make a tomato soup for dinner tonight before they go bad." She then shared a video documenting the process from picking the tomatoes, to roasting them and to blending them into a delicious soup.

But it appears not everyone had something nice to say about the culinary efforts between mother and son as Stacey later returned to her Instagram Story with a video in which she spoke directly to the camera. Alongside the video, a message could be seen which read: "So you fed your kids a bowl of tomato soup for dinner? Wow."

Responding to the private message, the mum-of-five said: "Sometimes my messages at night really bring me joy. Don't worry Wilma [the nickname she uses for trolls], I didn't give my kids a ladel of soup each then sent them up to bed." As she laughed, she explained: "We had dinner as well. That was like our starter. We were all really excited because they're Rex's tomatoes.
