Stacey Solomon flooded with praise and says 'how lucky' after making 'magical' family announcement

Stacey Solomon has shared a 'magical' family announcement with her followers on Instagram after telling fans she feels extremely 'lucky and grateful'. The busy mum-of-five revealed that she has a new addition to her home dubbed Pickle Cottage, which is a nod to Stacey's nickname for her children who she calls her 'pickles'.

Stacey, 34, announced that she has moved her beloved grandma into her huge Essex pad to live with her, husband Joe Swash and their five children; baby Belle, Rose, Rex, and Stacey's two older sons, Zach and Leighton, from a previous relationship. The Sort Your Life Out host and former EastEnders actor bought their characterful property a few years ago and tied the knot at their home in July 2022 in a beautiful ceremony with their nearest and dearest.

Taking to her Instagram page on Monday (October 16), Stacey shared some heartwarming pictures with her 5.8 million followers. One photo showed Stacey hugging her grandma whilst standing outside the gates of Pickle Cottage, whilst another showed her grandma with her daughter Rose.

Announcing the news, the caption read: "Got Grandma To Pickle Cottage. I can’t even describe how lucky & grateful we feel that we finally managed to convince grandma to move closer to us. This week we’ve been settling her in and it’s been magical."
