Stacey Solomon in tears and 'never felt this way' as she rounds off 'emotional' day with major son update

Stacey Solomon has told fans that she doesn't think she's 'ever felt' how she did watching her eldest child head off to prom. The Loose Women star was 17 when she welcomed her first child, son Zachary into the world, with his arrival coming a couple of years before Stacey shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009.

Stacey, 34, is now a happy mum-of-five after welcoming her second daughter, Belle, into the world in February last year with her husband Joe Swash. The couple also share a son Rex and a daughter Rose, while Stacey is also mum to her teenage son Leighton and Joe shares a teenage son Harry with a former partner.

But the TV star and author has told how she feels like she and Zachary have 'grown together' as she waved him off to prom as he left secondary school for the last time.

Taking to Instagram, Stacey shared a video to her Instagram Story in which she could be seen blowing up balloons with helium in her gorgeous pool house she recently got ready for the mini heatwave the country is experiencing. The golden balloons spelt out 'PROM' which she hung from one of the pool house's archways with the glistening pool visible in the background.

Alongside the clip, Stacey wrote: "Today has been a very emotional day. Honestly, I don't know where the years have gone. School is over and it's Zachary's prom [crying emoji]." In a follow-up post, the Sort Your Life Out host shared how she'd hosted a few of the parents of her son's friends.
