Stacey Solomon defended by fans after cruel trolls notice 'someone missing' from photo

Fans of Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon have rushed to her defence after a holiday snap caused a stir on Instagram.

The TV star recently shared a snap of her family, alongside husband Joe Swash, on an airport runway as they jetted off abroad. But many took to the comments section to call out Stacey for not including 17-year-old Harry – her husband's son with ex-wife Emma Sophocleous. One angry user commented: "I always feel sorry for your other son, Joe. He never seems to be with you all most of the time."

Her loyal fans were on hand to step in and defend her though, with one adding that the he may be doing his "own stuff", commenting: "Doesn’t anyone come straight to the comments to see the pathetic comments like: 'Are you not taking Joe's other son?' Get over it. He’s 17 now and probably has his own stuff going on."

Another added: "They've said a million times he just isn't in pics, but does go to things." Stacey recently tried to clear things up by explaining why her stepson doesn't feature in family snaps. She explained: "Publicly that’s not something that I can do and I totally respect that.

She added: "We respect everyone’s wishes, we’re a blended family and sometimes that’s a bit more complicated than it seems. I don’t know if that’s the best way to explain it!"

Despite not being a prominent feature on Stacey's social media, the teenager can regularly be seen on his dad's account. A photo was posted on his story last month to celebrate him completing work experience at Joe's celebrity agency.

The caption read: "My eldest son Harry is doing work experience at my agency @ymuentertainment so I popped down 2 take him for lunch at our favourite restaurant @sheesh_uk 67-69 Piccadilly in London!"
