St Mirren vs Hearts LIVE score and goal updates from the Premiership clash in Paisley
They were convincing winners on the road at the weekend to put the pressure on the chasing duo.
Hearts will be wanting the same again for tonight's trip to Paisley.
Three points against St Mirren will see Derek McInnes' men extend their lead at the Premiership summit to nine points ahead of the rest of the league playing on Wednesday night.
The Buddies have endured a sticky patch since lifting the Premier Sports Cup in December and lost to ten-man Hearts at Tynecastle last month.
However, they are unbeaten against the league leaders in Paisley, knocking them out of the League Cup on their way to glory and drawing 2-2 on the capital club's last league visit.
Beni Baningime was sent off early on in their last meeting but is available after serving a two-match suspension.
Landry Kabore was the two-goal hero at Tannadice on Saturday and will likely lead the line for the visitors.
St Mirren could have a debut to Man Utd U21 captain Jacob Devaney after his deadline day arrival.

Beni Baningime returns for Hearts tonight, but Kris Boyd reckons Hearts have looked a batter team since singing Marc Leonard.
The midfielder returned to Tynecastle on loan from Birmingham City and has impressed in the 2-2 draw with Celtic and 3-0 victory at Dundee United on Saturday.
"I'm not trying to be controversial here but Hearts, since Devlin and Baningime have been missing and Leonard's come in, they;ve been a better team on the ball.
"He'll get it off the cnetre backs, he'll want to start moves and seems to be in more control of the ball.
"And that's not a criticism of Devlin and Baningime, but since Leonard's come in they look a more compaosed team."
