St Johnstone winger Diallang Jaiyesimi "buzzing" to entertain fans after recovering from injury

Diallang Jaiyesimi is ready to entertain and make up for lost time after a frustrating start to his St Johnstone career.

The winger, on loan from Charlton and known as ‘DJ’, has yet to feature this season due to picking up a niggling hamstring injury soon after arriving at McDiarmid Park.

But recovery has gone well and, coupled with last week’s weather call-off, he is now fully fit and relishing the chance to show what he can do against St Mirren.

“It wasn’t a great start, obviously, with the injury,” Jaiyesimi told the PA.

“I like to create chances and get forward,” the 25-year-old explained.

“I feel I am a creative player and I like to entertain the fans.

“I don’t mind the pressure. I know what I can do and I know what the gaffer wants from me.

“If called upon I will do my job for the team. I’ve played right wing-back before.

“I’ve played in various positions so I won’t be out of my comfort zone.

“I’m buzzing for it. I haven’t played a competitive game for a while now. I’m raring
