St Johnstone chief executive Stan Harris delighted to see city working together in new discount initiative

Chief executive Stan Harris hopes both St Johnstone and local businesses will reap the rewards of a new initiative introduced this month.

The Perth club has unveiled a range of special partnerships with Perthshire businesses which are exclusive to season ticket holders.

Those in possession of a McDiarmid Park season ticket will now be able to take advantage of various discounts at firms across the city.

Businesses from a number of different sectors have been quick to sign up and more are set to follow in the coming weeks and months.

“As a club we were delighted to announce the season ticket partner discounts,” said Saints’ chief executive Harris.

“We are so happy to be able to help bring brilliant discounts to our loyal fans whilst also shining a spotlight on Perthshire-based businesses.

“After a difficult few years for everyone, it’s great to see a city looking out for each other and working together.

“We always want to give our fans as much as we can and also to our sponsors who do so much for the club.

“It’s a great initiative and one we hope fans and the businesses taking part can reap the rewards from.”

Upon showing evidence of their season ticket, Saints fans can receive 10 per cent off at popular locations such as Lindsays Butchers on North Methven Street, Willows Coffee Shop on St John’s Place and Friarton Road-based Home Heating Services.

Other businesses signed up so far include MKM on Glenearn Road, Perthshire Flooring on Canal Street, The Kilt Company on Kinnoull Street, Bannerman Painters on Dunkeld Road, The Maltings on Dunkeld Road, Broth3rs on George Street, Crido’s on St John’s Place, George Campbell & Sons Seafood on Whitefriars Street and Drainmaster Scotland on Glenearn Road.
