Spurs can unearth their new Son & Kane as Paratici plots bid for 28-goal "boy wonder" - opinion

Tottenham have been busy throughout the summer transfer window so far as they have moved to bring four new players to the club. 

Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Richarlison, and Yves Bissouma have all arrived on permanent deals to bolster Antonio Conte’s squad.

After raiding Everton to sign their Brazilian striker, it was recently reported that negotiations are ongoing over a potential swoop for his former teammate Anthony Gordon.

Paratici must now sign him in the coming weeks as the young winger can form half of the club’s next dynamic duo at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

What do you think of when you hear the term ‘dynamic duo’? The general population may instantly tilt towards Batman and Robin but those of a Spurs persuasion will be immediately drawn to Tottenham’s attacking partnership.

Kane led the line for Antonio Conte’s side last term with 17 goals and nine assists, whilst his partner in fighting crime (defences) managed 23 goals and seven assists.

Both of them will be in their 30s next year and the club may start looking to the future and wondering who will be able to replace them.

Well, Spurs already have their young caped crusader to take over from Kane in Dane Scarlett and they can now land the “boy wonder” – as he was dubbed by former Everton striker Victor Anichebe – to take Son’s spot in a deal for Gordon. 

Scarlett has scored 23 goals in 23 games for Spurs at U18 level and scored seven goals in eight matches for England’s U19s. He has also made ten appearances for the first team before the age of 19, which shows that the club believe in the potential that his phenomenal youth team form suggests he has.
