Tottenham striker Richarlison has been tipped by his compatriot and north London rival Gabriel Jesus to challenge Mohamed Salah for the Golden Boot next season.

Richarlison signed for Spurs after completing a £60million move from Everton, becoming the club's fourth summer addition along with Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic. Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence have also joined the club after the Brazilian striker as Antonio Conte strengthens his squad ahead of next season.

Richarlison's compatriot Jesus joined Arsenal in a £45million deal this summer and the pair will go head-to-head in the north London derby for the first time in October. The new Gunners striker has backed Richarlison to fight for the Golden Boot alongside the likes of Salah, Erling Haaland and new teammate Son Heung-min.

Jesus believes his Brazilian compatriot can challenge the league's best strikers next season. Speaking during Arsenal's pre-season tour of America, via the Mirror, the Gunners' forward said: "I hope that we can both end the season fighting for the Golden Boot because I like him."
