Springboks to tackle Wales twice in 2024 as world champions confirm year-end tour fixtures

The Springboks have confirmed year-end Tests against Scotland, England and Wales to complete their 2024 season.

The Test against England at Twickenham on 16 November had already been confirmed at an earlier date, while two more year-end Tests against Scotland and Wales were added to the roster on Monday.

The world champions will open their year-end tour against Scotland in Edinburgh on 10 November and conclude the season against Wales in Cardiff on 23 November. The Boks will also face the Welsh at Twickenham to open their season on 22 June.

Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus said they we relooking forward to heading to Europe again. 

"As a team we want to measure ourselves against the top sides in the world consistently, and facing Scotland, Wales, and England on the year-end tour, two of which we faced in the World Cup, will be fantastic for the team and the players.

"Wales may have had a disappointing Six Nations campaign, while Scotland won two of their five matches and England three, but they are always a force to be reckoned with at home, so we know we have to be at the top of our game when we line up against them," Erasmus said in a statement.
