SPFL transfer news as '£6m' Miovski sent Aberdeen plea, Hibs run rule over 2 trialists and Hearts close in on right back

Aberdeen have been urged to hold out for £6m for Bojan Miovski - and tell clubs they're NOT getting him for any less this month.

Miovski has been one of the players of the Premiership season so far with 15 goals in 29 games and he recently insisted he's in no rush to leave. But the vultures are circling with Celtic and Southampton among the clubs most prominently linked with January swoops. Dons legend Joe Harper, though, believes they should hold out for a fee that would comfortably shatter the £4.2m club record fee they landed from Liverpool for Calvin Ramsay.

It had previously been reported Aberdeen wanted a fee in the region of £4.5m to sell him this month. But Harper told the Press and Journal: "Hopefully Miovski will still be at Pittodrie when the transfer window closes, and it is a real positive that the striker is in no rush to exit. Miovski still has two-and-a-half years left on his deal as he is contracted to the Dons until summer 2026.

"However, a club could yet come in with an offer that is too good for Aberdeen to refuse. For me, that would have to be at least £6 million. If Miovski remains at Pittodrie beyond this window and continues to bang in goals, his transfer value will only rocket up even higher."

Over in the capital, Nick Montgomery has handed former Leeds United forward Adryan the chance to win a deal at Hibs. The Brazilian featured as a trialist as the Easter Road side lost 5-1 to Servette in a friendly at their Dubai winter break training base today.

Leeds defender Kris Moore also featured and Montgomery will continue to assess the pair ahead of making a decision on whether to deal them in this month.
