SPFL play-off dates confirmed as clubs vie for places

This season's Premiership play-off dates and times have been confirmed by the SPFL, as the battle for places heats up.

All six matches will be televised live.

BBC Scotland will show the quarter-finals on Tuesday, May 3, and Friday, May 6, followed by the semi-finals on Tuesday, May 10, and Friday, May 13.

The two-legged final will be live on Sky Sports on Friday, May 20, and Monday, May 23, with highlights of both games shown on BBC Scotland.

The Championship and League 1 play-offs are due to begin in the midweek of May 3 and 4, and full details will be announced shortly. The League 2 (pyramid) play-off final is scheduled for Saturdays, May 7 and 14.

SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "We know there is always huge interest surrounding the play-offs and we are delighted that all six cinch Premiership play-off games will be shown live by our broadcast partners Sky Sports and BBC Scotland.

“There is so much to play for across all four divisions in the weeks ahead and we look forward to an exciting conclusion to the season next month."

SPFL clubs have voted to allow up to five substitutes - plus a sixth in extra-time - in the play-offs, from nine listed in the team-sheet.

The quarter-final first leg on Tuesday, May 3, sees 4th v 3rd in the Championship at 7.05pm, with the sides reversed ion Friday, May 6 at 7.45pm.

Whichever team wins that is at home to 2nd in the Championship on Tuesday, May 10 at 7.05, with the sides reversed on Friday, May 13, at 7.45pm. All for games are on BBC Scotland.

The winner of those games is at home to the side which finishes 11th in the Premiership, which is currently St Johnstone, on Friday, May 20, at 7.45pm.

These sides are then reversed for the second leg, on Monday, May 23, at
